Bulls vs Celtics Prediction

The Bulls are still missing Nic Claxton, and they are keeping an eye on Patrick Williams, Jalen Smith, and Tobe Awaka, while the Celtics have a full squad once again. The Bulls would have taken plenty of confidence from their narrow defeat to the Knicks in their last outing thanks to a big game from Powell, who had 30 points, but they couldn’t get the job done despite leading by 19 points, so I don’t love their chances against this Celtics team, who just survived a real scare in their last outing.

Maybe the Bulls can keep this close if they get off to another flyer, but I think the more likely scenario is that the Celtics start fast and cruise their way to an easy win at home.

Chicago Bulls Betting Preview

The Chicago Bulls have won just one of their first five games overall, and they are now on a three-game losing streak after falling just short to the Knicks in a 133-127 home defeat on Wednesday. Norman Powell led the team with 30 points on 10-for-15 shooting, Caleb Wilson added 20 points with six rebounds and four assists, while Jalen Smith and Matas Buzelis each scored 17 points.

As a team, the Bulls shot 48 percent from the field and an efficient 18 of 42 from the 3-point line as they took the fight to the Knicks to lead by as many as 19 points at one stage, but they couldn’t hold off the Knicks in the fourth quarter, where they leaked 43 points.

Boston Celtics Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics are starting to heat up now as they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after sneaking past the pesky Nets in a 125-124 overtime win on Tuesday. Jayson Tatum led the team with 40 points and eight assists; Paul George added 20 points with seven rebounds and seven assists, while Derrick White chipped in with 16 points and seven assists.

As a team, the Celtics shot 45 percent from the field and 11 of 41 from the 3-point line as they squandered a five-point lead with just 13.4 seconds left in regulation, before they made up for it in overtime thanks to Tatum who nailed the winning shot at the buzzer in overtime to steal the game.
