The Brooklyn Nets pay a visit to the Memphis Grizzlies at the FedExForum on Sunday night. Here’s a Brooklyn Nets vs Memphis Grizzlies Prediction. This article will include a Brooklyn Nets vs Memphis Grizzlies Pick.

Brooklyn Nets Betting Preview

The Brooklyn Nets have been in a rut as they’ve dropped five of their last six games overall and they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after getting smashed by the Clippers in a 121-105 loss on Friday. Egor Demin led the team with 19 points on six of 13 shooting, MIchael Porter Jr had a quiet game of just 18 points and six assists while Cam Thomas and Nic Claxton each scored 13 points.

As a team, the Nets shot just 40 percent from the field and 15 of 47 from the 3-point line as they struggled to contain the Clippers from the start and fell behind by 16 points at halftime. This is a shame because the Nets were much more competitive in the second half where they matched the Clippers in points.

Memphis Grizzlies Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been in a real slump as they’ve lost six of their last seven games overall. They will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after falling painfully short to the Thunder in a 117-116 loss on Friday. Jaren Jackson Jr led the team in scoring with 23 points on nine of 14 shooting, GG Jackson added 18 points off the bench while Santi Aldama chipped in with 15 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.

As a team, the Grizzlies shot 47 percent from the field and 14 of 41 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 65 points in the first half to lead by as many as 21 points. However, they lost their focus and allowed 71 points in the second half to lose the lead with just 1:07 left on the clock.

Brooklyn Nets vs Memphis Grizzlies Prediction

The Nets have ruled out Drake Powell, Ziaire Williams, Michael Porter Jr and Haywood Highsmith, while the Grizzlies are still missing Ja Morant, Brandon Clarke, Ty Jerome and Zach Edey to name a few. The Nets have gone cold lately, and they’ve decided to rest Michael Porter Jr for this one, which really opens the door for the Grizzlies, who are more accustomed to playing shorthanded.

The Grizzlies might still be kicking themselves after blowing a 21-point lead to the Thunder in their last outing, but I expect them to take out their frustrations on the Nets, who will struggle for points without Porter Jr.

Peter Tran's Pick: Memphis -7.5
