The Seattle Mariners and the Colorado Rockies will meet Saturday night in an interleague matchup at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado. Let’s take a look at this matchup from a betting perspective.

Seattle Mariners Betting Preview

The Seattle Mariners enter Saturday’s contest with a 72-82 overall record (3rd in the American League West) and an abysmal 32-47 record on the road. The Mariners offense has been inconsistent this season. Seattle has compiled 629 runs scored (29th in MLB), 195 doubles, 177 home runs and a .232 team batting average which ranks a rather low 30th in Major League Baseball.

The Mariners arrive at tonight’s game in above average form. Seattle has won the team’s last two games played this season, including a 7-2 victory over the Los Angeles Angels.

The Seattle Mariners will turn to right hander Bryce Miller in this game. In 19 starts made in 2026, Miller has compiled a 4-9 win-loss record, a 4.19 ERA, a 1.16 WHIP and 106 strikeouts in 107.1 innings pitched. Bryce Miller arrives at this contest in subpar form, allowing four earned runs or more in five of his last seven starts made this season. Miller will look to rebound from his recent struggles on the mound in this evening’s matchup with the Colorado Rockies.

Shifting our focus to the Seattle offense, the Mariners lineup features outfielder Randy Arozarena. Arozarena has compiled a .281 batting average, 23 home runs, 75 RBIs and an .856 OPS which ranks 17th in Major League Baseball.

Colorado Rockies Betting Preview

The Colorado Rockies enter Saturday’s matchup with a 56-98 overall record (5th in the National League West) and a 31-45 mark at home. The Rockies arrive at tonight’s game in poor form, losing eleven of the team’s last twelve games played this season, including a 9-2 loss to the San Diego Padres two days ago.

The Rockies will start right hander Tomoyuki Sugano in this contest. In 27 starts made in 2026, Sugano has compiled a 12-10 win-loss record, a 5.49 ERA, a 1.36 WHIP and 86 strikeouts in 142.2 innings pitched. Tomoyuki Sugano has struggled recently, allowing five earned runs or more in five of his last six starts made this season.

The Colorado Rockies lineup features catcher Hunter Goodman and first baseman TJ Rumfield. Hunter Goodman has emerged as one of the club’s top power threats (38 home runs) this season while TJ Rumfield has been a consistent contributor in the middle of the lineup.

Why the Seattle Mariners will win.

• Starting pitching. In 19 starts made in 2026, Bryce Miller has compiled a 4-9 win-loss record, a 4.19 ERA, a 1.16 WHIP and 106 strikeouts in 107.1 innings pitched.

• Recent form. The Seattle Mariners arrive today’s contest on the heels of a two-game winning streak.

• Offensive potential. Randy Arozarena has been a key contributor for the Seattle Mariners this season.

Why the Colorado Rockies will win.

• Home field advantage. The Colorado Rockies have historically played well at Coors Field.

• Starting pitching. In 27 starts made in 2026, Tomoyuki Sugano has compiled a 12-10 win-loss record, a 5.49 ERA, a 1.36 WHIP and 86 strikeouts in 142.2 innings pitched.

• Motivation. The Colorado Rockies have lost eleven of the team’s last twelve games.

Seattle Mariners vs. Colorado Rockies Prediction

In my view, the way to go in this matchup is the total rather than a side. Why? Colorado starting pitcher Tomoyuki Sugano has struggled recently, allowing five earned runs or more in five of his last six starts made this season. Similarly, Seattle hurler Bryce Miller arrives at this contest in subpar form, allowing four earned runs or more in five of his last seven starts made in 2026. With that said, I see both teams finding offensive success in this contest. I am backing over 9.5 runs in this game.
