Taj Bradley Over 2.5 Earned Runs
Tampa Bay Rays vs Boston Red Sox 7:10 PM EST

Taj Bradley has made 17 starts this season, totaling 92 innings pitched with a 5–6 record, a 4.79 ERA, and a 1.30 WHIP. He’s struck out 79 batters (7.73 K/9) while issuing 36 walks (3.52 BB/9), and surrendered 12 home runs, all contributing to a modest 4.36 FIP. In April, Bradley went 16⅓ innings, logging a 6.06 ERA with 29 punchouts and 17 walks. Bradley’s performance with runners in scoring position has been troubling his ERA balloons to 14.14 in those spots. Now he has to pitch in Fenway against a Red Sox offense that’s red hot right now. Taj Bradley has been one or the more overrated pitchers in the league and he’s very volatile. Expect the Red Sox to take advantage of this.

Chris Paddack Over 2.5 Earned Runs
Chicago Cubs vs Minnesota Twins 7:40 PM EST

Chris Paddack has had a mixed but serviceable 2025 season for the Minnesota Twins. Over 17 starts, he’s pitched 90 innings with a 3–7 record, a 4.70 ERA, and a 1.23 WHIP. He’s struck out 63 batters while walking 24, showing decent control with a 2.63 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Paddack has performed better on the road, where he’s posted a 4.02 ERA in 10 starts compared to slightly less consistent numbers at home. Paddack hasn’t been in his best form as of late, giving up 21 earned runs in his last 5 starts combined. We’ve seen Paddack struggle against some of the better lineups in the league, and now he has to go against a Cubs lineup that ranks in the top 5 in almost every major offensive category.

Bryan Woo Over 6.5 K’s
Seattle Mariners vs New York Yankees 7:05 PM EST

Bryan Woo has enjoyed a breakout 2025 season anchoring Seattle’s rotation. In 17 starts and 107â…“ innings, he’s compiled an 8–4 record with an excellent 2.77 ERA and a stingy 0.96 WHIP, striking out 104 batters (8.7 K/9) while issuing just 19 walks (1.6 BB/9). Woo’s ability to consistently go deep into games is unmatched; he’s the only MLB starter to throw at least six innings in all 17 of his starts. He’s coming off a six-scoreless outing against the Pirates on July 4th with eight strikeouts. He’s recorded 6+ strikeouts in each of his last 4 starts, and I like him to have another good game in this one. The Yankees’ bats have been volatile, and it’s boom or bust with them. This should suit Woo’s game well.
