Robbie Ray Under 2.5 Earned Runs
Philadelphia Phillies vs San Francisco Giants 9:45 PM EST

Robbie Ray has delivered a dominant performance through 17 starts in 2025, compiling an impressive 8–3 record, a 2.75 ERA, and a 1.15 WHIP over 98.1 innings pitched. He’s struck out 110 batters, good for a stellar 10.07 K/9 rate, while issuing 38 walks, resulting in a strong 2.9 K/BB ratio. Early in the year, he tossed at least seven innings in back-to-back outings, totaling 16 K’s, reinforcing his Cy Young pedigree. He’s given up 2 or fewer runs in 4 of his last 6 starts. He’s been strong at home this season and it helps a lot that he pitches in such a pitcher friendly ballpark. This Phillies team has a lot of dangerous guys in this lineup but they’ve been a different team at the plate when playing on the road.

Nick Martinez Under 4.5 K’s
Miami Marlins vs Cincinnati Reds 7:10 PM EST

Nick Martinez has appeared in 19 games, posting a 6–8 record with a 4.20 ERA over 100.2 innings. He allowed 97 hits and 48 earned runs, struck out 71 batters (6.3 K/9), and issued only 21 walks (1.9 BB/9), which contributed to a solid 1.17 WHIP. Martinez’s season started unevenly, with a 0–3 record and 6.00 ERA through his first four starts, allowing 14 earned runs over 21 innings. However, he has improved steadily, including a six-strikeout performance over six innings at Washington and another five K outing against Houston. With that being said, we’ve seen him log less than 5 K’s in 4 of his last 5 starts. He’s going against this Marlins team that has been seeing the ball very well over the last month, and I expect them to continue their success in this hitter-friendly ballpark.

Shota Imanaga Under 2.5 Earned Runs
Chicago Cubs vs Minnesota Twins 7:40 PM EST

Shota Imanaga has been a reliable contributor to the Cubs’ rotation, posting a 5–2 record with a 2.78 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP over 55.0 innings through his first 10 starts. He has struck out 41 batters while issuing 15 walks, yielding a solid 2.7 K/BB ratio. His ability to limit baserunners and generate whiffs has made him one of the more effective starters in the rotation. Imanaga is coming off one of his more challenging starts of the season, giving up 3 earned runs against Cleveland on 7/2. Before that start, we saw him give up 2 or fewer runs in 5 of his last 6 starts. Imanaga is the type of pitcher I want to back after a rough start. He has a favorable matchup in this one going against the Twins, who’ve been questionable at the plate.
