Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 Total Bases
Los Angeles Dodgers vs Chicago White Sox 10:10 PM EST
Shohei Ohtani is enjoying another historic offensive season with the Dodgers in 2025. Through 80 games, he’s slashing .291/.392/.633 with 28 home runs, 52 RBIs, and a league-leading 80 runs scored, combining elite power and on-base skills for a 1.025 OPS, ranking third in the National League. Split-wise, he’s performed with consistent impact both at home (.299/.389/.638 OPS 1.027) and on the road (.275/.387/.627 OPS 1.014). He’s more dominant against right-handers, slugging .699 with 18 home runs, compared to .578 with four homers vs. lefties. He’ll be going against Aaron Civale in this one, who’s far past his prime and has been hit up by much weaker offenses so far this season. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ohtani hit this in his first AB.

Pete Crow-Armstrong Over 1.5 Total Bases
Cleveland Guardians vs Chicago Cubs 8:05 PM EST
Pete Crow‑Armstrong has emerged as one of MLB’s most electrifying young players in 2025. Across approximately 83 games, he’s batting .262 with a .299 on-base percentage and a .537 slugging percentage, giving him an .836 OPS, solid top‑30 in the league. He’s slugging 21 home runs, driving in 62 runs, scoring 59, and stealing 25 bases. By early June, he became the fourth-fastest player in modern MLB history to reach both 15 homers and 20 steals in just 60 games. We saw Armstrong go through a little slump to finish out June, but he bounced back nicely in game 1 of this series, logging 2 total bases. I expect him to carry that momentum into the rest of this series and get back on track.Â
CJ Abrams Over 1.5 Total Bases
Detroit Tigers vs Washington Nationals 6:45 PM EST
CJ Abrams has played in 71 games, racking up 286 at-bats with a .287 batting average, .355 OBP, and .497 slugging for a strong .852 OPS. He’s tallied 82 hits, including 18 doubles, 3 triples, and 12 home runs, while driving in 31 runs and scoring 53 times. Abrams has been quietly one of the hottest hitters in the league as of late, logging 2+ total bases in 9 of his last 10 games. Until Abrams shows signs of slowing down, I’ll continue to make money on taking his overs. It looks like the Tigers will be going with a bullpen game which makes me like this even more.Â
