The Line: Betting Odds: Seattle -1.5 — Over/Under: +7
Bryan Woo Over 5.5 K’s
Kansas City Royals vs Seattle Mariners 9:40 PM EST
Bryan Woo has solidified his role as a rock in Seattle’s rotation, making 15 starts and pitching 95⅓ innings with a 6–4 record, a 3.12 ERA, and an impressive 0.95 WHIP. He’s amassed 87 strikeouts (8.2 K/9) and issued just 15 walks, underlining his excellent command. He’s thrown at least six innings in all 15 starts, which is at the top of the league’s rankings in that category and creeping close to franchise records for consecutive six-inning outings. We’ve seen Woo log 9 Ks in back-to-back starts. He now faces this Royals team that has struggled at the plate this season. Woo should have another great outing in this one.

David Festa Over 2.5 Earned Runs
Minnesota Twins vs Miami Marlins 6:40 PM EST
David Festa has had a mixed but promising 2025 campaign as he continues to find his footing in the Twins’ rotation. Over seven total appearances, he holds a 2–2 record with a 5.40 ERA, a 1.42 WHIP, and 38 strikeouts. His performance has been inconsistent, ranging from a dominant 5.2 scoreless‑inning outing with six strikeouts against Detroit on June 28. to a tough 4.2 inning start where he allowed eight runs at Atlanta on June 22. Festa is coming off a great start, but if you look at his season, he’s struggled to put together 2 good outings in a row. This Marlins team is on fire right now, and I can see them getting after Festa early and often in this game.
Chris Bassitt Over 2.5 Earned Runs
New York Yankees vs Toronto Blue Jays 7:07 PM EST
Chris Bassitt has been a steady and effective presence in the Blue Jays’ rotation this year. Over 16 starts and 92.1 innings pitched, he has compiled a 7–3 record with a 3.61 ERA and 1.26 WHIP while striking out 90 batters, an 8.77 K/9 rate, against just 21 walks. I loved how Bassitt looked to start this season but as of late we have seen some chinks in his armor. He’s coming off his worst start of the year, giving up 8 earned runs against the Boston Red Sox. He’s also given up 3+ runs in 4 of his last 6 starts. After a great start to the season, it looks like Bassitt is starting to come down to his baseline form, and I think this Yankees lineup takes advantage of that.
