Pick details
Baltimore (69-77) vs Toronto (84-62)
September 12, 2025 at 07:07 PM EDT
The Line: Betting Odds: Toronto -1.5 — Over/Under: +8
Baltimore Orioles vs Toronto Blue Jays 7:07 PM EST
Pick: NRFI
The Orioles will send Trevor Rogers to the mound, who has been outstanding this season with an 8-2 record and a sparkling 1.51 ERA, while the Blue Jays counter with veteran right-hander Chris Bassitt, who enters at 11-8 with an ERA just under 4. Toronto comes into the matchup in strong form, sitting at 84-62 and pushing for playoff positioning, while Baltimore lingers below .500 at 68-77 but has shown fight with several recent walk-off wins. I’m looking to back both these starters, and also both these lineups have struggled as of late as well. We all know the Orioles’ problems at the plate, and even though the Blue Jays have been great this season, they did struggle this week against the Astros from a hitting perspective.Â

Los Angeles Angels vs Seattle Mariners 10:10 PM EST
Pick: NRFIÂ
Seattle will send ace Luis Castillo to the mound, who is 9-8 with a 3.85 ERA and 144 strikeouts, while the Angels counter with left-hander Yusei Kikuchi, who has a 6-11 record and a 4.18 ERA. The Mariners come into the series riding a five-game winning streak and pushing toward postseason contention. Both these starters have struggled down the stretch, but I want to back both guys to get back on the right track. These are still considered both of these teams’ aces, and they’re pitching at T-Mobile Park, which is the most pitcher-friendly ballpark in the MLB.
Cincinnati Reds vs Athletics 10:05 PM EST
Pick: YRFI
The Reds come into the matchup at 74-72, still battling to stay in the postseason picture, while the Athletics sit at 67-80, looking more toward development and evaluation in what has been a challenging season. Cincinnati will hand the ball to Brady Singer, who has been solid with a 13-9 record and a 3.92 ERA, while Oakland counters with J.T. Ginn, who has struggled to a 3-6 mark. Even though Singer has been in good form, this will be a tough spot for him, pitching in this ballpark in Sacramento, and going against a talented lineup like the Athletics. I also don’t trust JT Ginn to get out of the first inning untouched as well.
