Arizona Diamondbacks Betting Preview
The Arizona Diamondbacks are 36-36 this year after they lost game one by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday night. Arizona led 4-2 in the seventh inning, but their bullpen fell apart once again for the loss. The Diamondbacks recorded eight hits in the game and they were led by Naylor, Suarez, and Smith, who all had one RBI in the loss. Arizona started Pfaadt, who allowed four hits and two earned runs over 5.0 innings, while Miller picked up the loss in relief.

Prior to this series, the Diamondbacks won two out of three against the Padres and all three against the Mariners. Arizona has won five of their last seven games and they are currently fourth in the NL West standings. The Arizona pitching staff has a 4.78 ERA with a 1.35 WHIP and a .252 opponent batting average, while their offense has scored 365 runs with a .253 batting average and a .331 on base percentage this year. Eugenio Suarez has led Arizona with 21 home runs and 58 RBIs, while Corbin Carroll has added 20 home runs and 44 RBIs this season. The projected starting pitcher for Arizona is Eduardo Rodriguez, who is 2-3 with a 6.27 ERA and a 1.59 WHIP over 56.0 innings pitched this year.

Toronto Blue Jays Betting Preview
The Toronto Blue Jays are 39-33 this season after they won the first game in this series on Tuesday night. Toronto led 2-0 in the third inning, but they needed two runs in the ninth to steal the win. The Blue Jays recorded nine hits and they committed one error in the game, while they were led by Guerrero, who went 3-4 with one home run and three RBIs in the win. Toronto started Bassitt, who allowed six hits and three earned runs over 6.0 innings, while Hoffman picked up the win in the ninth.

Prior to this series, the Blue Jays were swept by the Phillies in three games, but did sweep the Cardinals before that. Toronto has lost three of their last four games and they are currently third in the AL East standings. The Toronto pitching staff has a 4.21 ERA with a 1.25 WHIP and a .240 opponent batting average, while their offense has scored 307 runs with a .254 batting average and a .323 on base percentage this season. Bo Bichette has led Toronto with nine home runs and 42 RBIs, while George Springer has added 10 home runs and 31 RBIs this year. Diamondbacks vs Blue Jays Prediction
Arizona continues to have pitching issues that is costing them games, as we witnessed in their collapse on Tuesday night. The Diamondbacks are 16-18 on the road this year, while the Blue Jays are 23-13 at home. Toronto has played very well over the last three weeks and they are starting Lauer, who has allowed a total of two earned runs in his last 14.0 innings. Arizona is going with Rodriguez, who has allowed two earned runs in two straight starts. I don’t really trust either pitcher in this matchup, but I definitely can’t back E-Rod with how he has looked all season. Take the Jays here.

David Racey's Pick: Blue Jays ML
