Colorado Rockies vs New York Mets Prediction
Game 1 Prediction: We’re not to the point where we can trust the Mets just because they won a couple of games. This team is a mess. However, I’m not thrilled to back the Rockies. I’m looking at the over. Quintana has a 6.23 ERA and 1.85 WHIP through 13 innings and has walked 9 while striking out just 3. While Nolan McLean has been solid, the Mets should have enough pop in their bats to get us close to the number. Give me the over.
Game 2 Prediction: It would be nice to know who the Rockies are throwing on the mound, but backing Senga isn’t an option. Through 17.1 innings, Senga has an 8.83 ERA and 1.90 WHIP. In 11.1 innings this month, Senga has allowed 19 hits and 15 earned runs. He’s in awful form. I’m going to assume the Rockies will be underdogs anyway. Give me the plus money in game 2.
