Athletics vs Texas Rangers Prediction
The Athletics continue to play winning baseball and are worth a look in these spots as long as it continues. I’m still rolling with the Rangers in this spot. Lopez is still wet behind the ears in terms of experience, and he hasn’t gone more than 1.2 innings in a game this season. I’m not a fan of bullpen games. The Rangers have lost five of their last six games, but it’s only a matter of time before the offense picks up. The Rangers have scored three or fewer runs in six straight games, but that can’t last forever. deGrom is also starting to figure things out, which includes allowing nine hits and three runs in his last 12.1 innings. If the Rangers can’t stop the bleeding in this spot, it may be time to hit the panic button. Of course, I’ll lay the RL to shave down the juice.
