In this article, we will formulate an Angels vs Mariners prediction for this MLB game on Tuesday, April 29th at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this MLB matchup.

Los Angeles Angels Betting Preview

The Los Angeles Angels are 12-15 this season after they lost all three games against the Twins by scores of 4-11, 1-5, and 0-5. In their game three loss, the Angels fell behind in the first inning and could never get the offense going to get back into the game. Los Angeles recorded just four hits, and they committed one error in the game, while they were led by Rengifo, who had two hits in the loss. LA started Soriano, who allowed five hits and three earned runs over 5.0 innings in the loss, while Zeferjahn allowed two hits and one earned run in one relief inning.

Prior to that series, the Angels lost two out of three against the Pirates, but did win two out of three against the Giants before that. Los Angeles has lost five of their last six games, and they are currently last in the NL West standings. The Los Angeles pitching staff has a 4.75 ERA with a 1.46 WHIP and a .263 opponent batting average, while the offense has scored 100 runs with a .212 batting average and a .267 on-base percentage this season. Mike Trout has led LA with nine home runs and 18 RBIs, while Logan O’Hoppe has added seven home runs and 12 RBIs this year. The projected starting pitcher for Los Angeles is Jack Kochanowicz, who is 1-3 with a 5.47 ERA and a 1.48 WHIP over 26.1 innings pitched this season.

Seattle Mariners Betting Preview

The Seattle Mariners are 16-12 this year after they won two out of three against the Marlins by scores of 4-8, 14-0, and 7-6. In their game three win, Seattle led 5-1 in the fourth inning and 7-2 in the sixth, but they allowed the last four runs and barely hung on for the win. The Mariners recorded nine hits in the game, and they were led by Crawford, Polanco, and Rodriguez, who all had two RBIs in the win. Seattle started Evans, who allowed two hits and two earned runs over 5.0 innings for the win, while Munoz picked up the save.

Prior to that series, the Mariners won two out of three against the Red Sox and two out of three against the Blue Jays. Seattle has won six of their last eight games, and they are currently first in the AL West standings. The Seattle pitching staff has a 3.79 ERA with a 1.31 WHIP and a .245 opponent batting average, while the offense has scored 138 runs with a .237 batting average and a .336 on-base percentage this season. Cal Raleigh has led Seattle with 10 home runs and 17 RBIs, while Jorge Polanco has added seven home runs and 20 RBIs this year. The projected starting pitcher for Seattle is Bryce Miller, who is 1-3 with a 4.21 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP over 25.2 innings pitched this year.

Angels vs Mariners Prediction

Seattle rolls into this series as one of the hottest teams in the AL, and they are 10-6 at home so far this year. The Mariners have found their offense, which has been the missing piece over the last few seasons. Los Angeles started the season decently well, but they have struggled recently, and they are just 7-11 on the road. Neither pitcher has great numbers to start the 2025 season, but I have to side with Miller and this Seattle offense. Take the Mariners to win by at least two runs here.

David’s Pick Mariners -1.5
