Washington Nationals vs New York Mets Prediction
I might try the Mets here. Megill had a spotty outing versus Boston on September 4 with 4.0 innings and three earned runs. In the other two of his last three, however, Megill is a combined 1-0 with one earned in 11.1 innings. As for Parker, he’s coming off 6.1 clean frames versus Miami but was spotty in his pair prior to that (9.1 innings; seven earned).
On Monday the Mets got a key RBI from Starling Marte to springboard off a great pitching performance. The bullpen went 3.0 innings with one hit, no walks, no earned, and four Ks. I like New York to keep it up Tuesday behind Megill.
