Kansas City Royals vs Pittsburgh Pirates Prediction
I’m going to try the Pirates here. Ortiz was a little shaky in his last start versus the Nationals though, taking a loss with 5.2 innings and three earned on six hits and two walks. Prior to that, however, Ortiz was 1-0 with 12.0 innings and zero earned combined in a pair of outings.
In their Wednesday game, the Pirates got some early RBI and were able to hold on for the victory. Only Bryan Reynolds, Nick Gonzales, and Jared Triolo got hits (two each), however. Pittsburgh needs to get the bats going Friday.
