St. Louis Cardinals vs Minnesota Twins Prediction
I’ll lean toward the Twins. Should be a good starter matchup, though. Lopez took a loss to the Cubs with four earned in 5.0 innings back on August 6. Since then Lopez is 1-0 with just two earned in 12.0 innings over two starts, though. As for Gray, he’s 1-2 in his last three with 10 earned (six in one start) in 17.0 innings.
On Friday the Twins got 3.2 innings and three earned out of starter David Festa. The bullpen was the main source of the breakdown however, and the offense didn’t provide much aid. Minnesota’s offense needs a jumpstart Saturday.
