Chicago Cubs vs Miami Marlins Prediction
I’m leaning toward the Cubs. A lot of that is due to Meyer’s recent issues on the mound, though. In his last three starts combined Meyer is 1-2 with 14 earned runs in 14.1 total innings on 21 hits and six walks. Chicago should have some early opportunities if Meyer can’t get it going.
On Thursday the Cubs bagged 13 team hits in a nice offensive outburst. Chicago did well on the mound also; the bullpen posted 2.0 innings, no earned, one hit and one walk. I like the Cubs to keep it up in the Friday opener.
