Cincinnati Reds vs Toronto Blue Jays Prediction
I’ll take a stab on the Reds here. Should be a fun starter matchup regardless, though. Martinez is 1-1 in his last three starts with just three earned over 18.0 combined innings. As for Rodriguez, he’s coming off four earned in 5.0 innings during a no-decision but had just one earned in his previous 10.1 frames.
On Tuesday the Reds coughed up all 10 runs in the first five innings during a rough pitching performance from Spiers. The good news is that the pen was solid with 3.2 innings, no earned, no hits and no walks. Cincinnati needs a much better effort on both sides Wednesday, and Martinez should be able to start them off well.
