San Diego Padres vs Miami Marlins Prediction
I’ll probably lean toward the Padres. Perez had a pretty rough outing last month versus Philly, posting six earned over 3.2 innings in a no-decision. Since then however, Perez is 1-0 with just one earned run in 12.0 innings. He should do pretty well here.
On Thursday the Padres blew an early 4-0 lead but eventually recovered with a big ninth inning (three runs). The bullpen was pretty choppy overall, though. That group provided 3.1 innings with six hits, three earned and two walks. Perez will need to start things out well for San Diego on Friday.
