Boston Red Sox vs Kansas City Royals Prediction
I’ll try the Royals in this one. Realistically I could probably go either way, though. Lugo had a rough start versus the Cubs on July 27 with six earned in 6.1 innings. In the other two of his last three starts however, Lugo is 2-0 with two earned in 17.0 total innings. As for Bello, he’s got eight earned in 17.1 innings over his last three starts.
On Monday the Royals got a choppy outing from Singer and an even rougher appearance from Angel Zerpa (0.1 innings; four earned). The offense wasn’t bad though, with just about everyone contributing. Lugo will need to start things off well Tuesday but if all goes according to plan KC should be primed for a bounce-back effort.
