Seattle Mariners vs Boston Red Sox Prediction
I’ll stay with the Mariners here, even with the rough Monday performance. Seattle should get a good start out of Castillo. Over his last three starts combined, Castillo is 1-1 with just three earned (all in one game) over 19.0 total frames. As for Paxton, he’s given up six earned over his last 8.2 innings.
On Monday the Mariners coughed up a whopping seven runs in the third inning alone and things only got worse from there. Seattle had to use four arms out of the bullpen to get through the game. Castillo getting a quality outing Tuesday is imperative.
