New York Yankees vs Philadelphia Phillies Prediction
I might take a stab on the Phillies here. Nola had a spotty start in Pittsburgh on July 19 with four earned in 5.0 innings. He came back strong with a no-decision on 6.0 innings and one earned in his last appearance, though. As for Cole, he was doing well for a couple of starts before giving up six earned in 5.2 innings versus the Mets his last time up.
On Monday the Phillies held things together relatively well until the fifth inning. Every pitcher gave up at least two earned runs in a rough performance across the board. It’s important for Nola to rise to the occasion in game two. I'm probably not touching this one.
