Colorado Rockies Recap
The Colorado Rockies come into this one looking to start this series on the right foot after beign swept in a four-game road series against the Giants this past weekend thanks to a 5-4 loss to San Francisco in Sunday’s finale. The loss snapped Colorado’s mini-series win streak after wins over the Giants and Red Sox since the all-star break.

Michael Toglia’s also chipped in 18 home runs as well this season.
Why the Colorado Rockies will win

- The Angels have lost six of their last seven games as favorites.
- The road team has covered the run line in seven of the Angels' last eight games.
- The Angels have failed to cover the run line each of their last four night games against teams that held a losing record.
Los Angeles Angels Recap
The Los Angeles Angels come into this one looking to build some momentum after salvaging a win from their series against the Oakland A’s, but it wasn’t enough, losing the set with the A’s to be unable to follow up their sweep of the Mariners last week.
Angels Trying To Stay Out Of AL West Basement
Taylor Ward has 86 hits along with 18 doubles, 16 home runs and 51 RBIs. Mike Trout also has 10 home runs along with a pair of triples and 6 stolen bases, but remains out indefinitely with injury while Zach Neto has 23 doubles, 85 strikeouts and 19 stolen bases. Luis Rengifo also has 82 hits and 23 stolen bases while Jo Adell has 15 home runs, 46 RBIs and 13 stolen bases as well. Logan O’Hoppe has 89 hits and Neto has a team-high 90 hits as well with O’Hoppe adding 14 homers and 43 RBIs.
Why the Los Angeles Angels will win
- The Rockies have lost each of their last 11 Tuesday games against teams that held a losing record.
- The home team has won each of the Rockies' last five games.
- The Angels have covered the run line in each of their last five home games against NL West opponents.
- The Rockies have failed to cover the run line in five of their last six road games against American League opponents.
Rockies vs. Angels Prediction
I’m leaning towards the Angels here. I don’t like either one of these teams if we’re being honest, but the Rockies have been borderline unbackable on the road and while Quantrill’s one of their better pitching options, he could have a great start and we’d still have to rely on this Rockies’ bullpen, which is something I’m not ready to do. I think the Angels have a chance to build some confidence in this series so give me the Halos.
