New York Yankees vs Kansas City Royals Prediction
I’ll take a stab on the Royals here. Singer has been pitching fairly well over the last three starts with four earned runs in 14.2 combined innings. In his last start Singer gave up nine hits in 3.2 innings however, so he’ll need to be sharper here. As for Stroman, he’s coming off five earned in 4.2 innings versus the Twins his last time out. Stroman was pitching well before that, however.
On Monday the Royals couldn’t cash in much on seven team hits. The good news is that the pen was great (2.0 innings; one hit; no walks). The bad news is that the offensive effort was pretty tepid. If KC can come back strong here they’ll have a chance.
