I’ll take a stab on Oregon here, but you could make a case either way. The Ducks got their proverbial mojo back with an easy game versus Portland State last Friday. In that one Oregon ended up surrendering just 103 total yards (101 passing), 2.8 yards per play, five first downs and 0-of-9 on third-down tries alongside four takeaways. The Ducks offense gathered 726 yards and 11-of-14 on third downs for their part. It doesn’t erase the sting of the game two loss, but it helps.

As for USC, they got past a plucky Rutgers team last weekend thanks to 461 yards, 7.3 yards er play and 24 first downs. The defense gave up 460 yards, 27 first downs and 6-of-11 on third downs on the other side, but did get a couple of interceptions. This is going to be another tough game, but at least it’s at home.
