Central Michigan vs Eastern Michigan Prediction
I’ll lean toward Eastern Michigan but you could probably call it either way. The Eagles had a good Ohio team on the ropes late in their most recent road loss but couldn’t close the game out. Eastern Michigan had 307 total yards and 18 first downs in that one but also went just 2-of-15 on third downs. Defensively the Eagles were good on third downs (3-of-11) and ha a couple of fumble recoveries. Eastern Michigan has been pretty tepid on the scoreboard in the last couple of games with just 34 combined points.
As for Central Michigan, they posted just 16 first downs and went 6-of-14 on third downs in their loss to Miami-OH. The 10 penalties for 83 yards didn’t help either. The Chippewas have given up 21 or more points in three straight games (all losses) so EMU should have some room to score if they can get it going.

Central Michigan Chippewas Betting Preview
Central Michigan started out the year on a reasonable run but they’ve since fallen on hard times. The Chippewas managed to win three of their first five games, taking out Colgate, Wyoming and Akron. The losses otherwise during that time came courtesy of new Mexico and Miami. Since then Central Michigan has been on a three-game losing streak, falling to Ohio, Western Michigan and Miami-OH. In eight games so far that gives CMU a 3-5 record.
In the Miami-OH game back on October 24, the Chippewas managed to score a touchdown in the second quarter and went to the break with a four-point deficit 14-10. CMU had a 27-21 lead late in the fourth quarter but then gave up another TD for a tough loss 28-27. QB Jadyn Glasser was 18-of-31 for 221 yards and one TD. Jayden Clerveaux rushed nine times for 32 yards and Langston Lewis led the receivers on 10 catches for 163 yards and a score.
Eastern Michigan Eagles Betting Preview
Over on the Eastern Michigan side, they’ve been on a sketchy run this year themselves. The Eagles beat Sacramento State in their opener then fell to San Jose State, Michigan State and Wisconsin in the next three. Eastern Michigan would then rattle off wins over Lindenwood, UMass and Akron before two more losses to Toledo and Ohio. Over nine games so far that gives the team a 4-5 record.
Matched up against Ohio on October 24, the Eagles were on top 13-10 by halftime thanks to a second-quarter touchdown and a couple of field goals on top. Eastern Michigan was up 20-17 late in the game but then gave up a 100-yard kickoff return TD during a 24-20 loss. QB Brogan McCaughey was 27-of-39 for 197 yards, one TD and one pick. Joey Mattord caught seven balls for 55 yards and a TD while Amareon Blue had 11 carries for 67 yards.
