I’ll stick with the Cougars I suppose. Probably not touching it, though. Washington State shot very well in their road loss to San Francisco over the weekend, with 57.6 percent from the field and 47.6 percent (10-of-21) from outside. The Cougars only got to the line three times (making two) as opposed to the Dons’ 15-of-18 (83.3 percent) effort on foul shots. The 27-19 deficit on the boards didn’t help matters either. Washington State has lost three straight games, but they’re scoring well lately with 78 or more points in four of the last five.

AS for San Diego, they breezed past Bethesda this weekend with 58 percent shooting from the field and a nice 27-of-29 (93 percent) from the line alongside a dominant 49-22 effort on the boards. The Toreros are just 1-2 in the last three games but they’ve scored 70 or more points in four of the last five outings themselves.
