The 13 turnovers didn’t help matters, but TX-Arlington did have a 41-36 edge on the boards and 81 percent (17-of-21) from the line. The Mavericks are a tepid 2-2 in their last four games but they’re scoring well with 71 or more points in all of those outings.

These teams last saw each other on January 15 in a 56-52 road win for TX-Arlington. The Mavericks shot poorly in that one as well (32.1 percent) with 16 turnovers. That said, Utah Tech hit just 31.8 percent from the field and an abysmal 6.7 percent (1-of-15) from outside. A lot of different things could happen in this rematch, depending on how the offenses look.
