As for Stony Brook, they couldn’t topple a middling Hampton team in their last outing thanks mostly to 16 turnovers and a 30-26 deficit in the paint. The Seawolves missed 11 of 20 free throws (45 percent) as well, but shot a solid 45.7 percent from the field to keep themselves in the game.
