St. Francis PA Red Flash Betting Preview

The Red Flash had a forgettable campaign a season ago. St. Francis PA went just 8-22 overall and 3-13 in Northeast Conference matchups, leaving them ahead of only Stonehill in the standings. In the NEC Tournament, the Flash lost their opener to Central Connecticut.

Head coach Rob Krimmel will get three of his starters back in his 13th year at the helm. It’s much more experience to work with as opposed to last year, including Sophomores Bobby Rosenberger (9.0 PPG), Aidan Harris (4.0 PPG) and Aaron Talbert (8.3 PPG).

Dayton Flyers Betting Preview

Over on the Dayton side, they had a pretty good run in 2023-24. The Flyers managed a 25-8 overall record with a 14-4 result in the Atlantic 10. Dayton posted a third-place finish in the standings behind Richmond and Loyola. An eventual loss to Arizona in the Second Round of the national tourney ended the season.

The Flyers will get back head coach Anthony Grant in his eighth season. Dayton loses a few key names though, specifically DaRon Holmes (NBA Draft), Kobe Elvis (Oklahoma) and Koby Brea (Kentucky). Posh Alexander (Butler) and Zed Key (Ohio State) come in through the portal to help fill the gaps.

I’ll probably just stay with Dayton here. The Flyers are in for an interesting season following their success in 2023-24. Senior Malachi Smith (7.7 PPG) is back on the floor after a torn ACL last year, and he’ll contribute to a roster that’s already pretty good on paper. There’s a challenging schedule ahead, however.

As for St. Francis PA, they may have another tough year ahead due to their lack of transfer players. That said, the Red Flash should showcase more experience and chemistry than they did last season. For now though, I don’t think they’re covering here.
