Samford vs. UNC-Greensboro Prediction

I’m leaning towards UNC-Greensboro here. I know historically, Samford has had the Spartans’ number, but there’s a couple of details for me as to why I like the Spartans. I think UNCG matches up well here, as Samford has a tendency to live and die by the three and UNCG has the 2nd-best 3-point defense in the conference. UNCG can match Samford on the glass and Samford can be very careless with the rock, sitting last in turnover percentage in SoCon play. UNCG forces turnovers at a decent rate and while Samford’s defense forces the most turnovers in conference play, UNCG does a better job of taking care of the basketball and I think those extra possessions and fast break opportunities on defense will be the difference here. Give me UNC-Greensboro at home here.
