Over on the Bethune-Cookman side, they were sitting at an ugly 3-10 overall record as the calendar flipped to 2026. The Wildcats have gone a nice 8-1 since then though, beating Florida A&M, Grambling, MS Valley State, AR-Pine Bluff, Jackson State, Alcorn State, Alabama State and Alabama A&M in that time. I’ll stick with Bethune-Cookman. The Wildcats are playing very well these days, and they’re coming off another nice win on the road versus Alabama A&M. In that one B-CU shot an excellent 52.7 percent from the field with a 40-30 rebounding edge. It wasn’t perfect though, as the Wildcats shot just 53.6 percent (15-of-28) from the line and had 12 turnovers. Still, Bethune-Cookman has won six straight games with a nice 69 or more points in each of those victories.

As for Prairie View, they got out-rebounded 37-28 and gave up 45.8 percent shooting to Texas Southern but still managed to pull off the home win. The Panthers are just 1-4 in their last five, and they’ve given up 76 or more points in all five of those outings. Bethune-Cookman should score well here.
