Penn Quakers Betting Preview
Penn logged a pretty solid 5-2 run over their first seven games this year. The only losses in that time were versus American and Providence. Since then however, it’s been a rough 3-5 run featuring losses to Hofstra, Villanova, Rutgers, George Mason and Princeton across that stretch. Over their first 15 games of the season Penn has managed to stay above .500 (barely) at 8-7 overall.
In their most recent matchup versus Brown last weekend, the Quakers were all tied up 42-42 by the break. Penn managed to hit a 39-31 run in the second half and power out a home victory 81-73 in the end. Ethan Roberts led the team on 28 points with five assists and four rebounds. Michael Zanoni added 20 points with three rebounds and one assist in the win as well.
Dartmouth Big Green Betting Preview
Over on the Dartmouth side, they logged a .500 run over their first 10 games this year, taking losses to Marist, Bryant, App State, Wyoming and Colorado State in that stretch. The Big Green would then lose to Sacred Heart and Florida ahead of wins over Elms College, Harvard and Cornell. In their first 15 games this year the Big Green have carved out an identical record at 8-7.
Matched up against Cornell last Saturday the Big Green headed into the second half with a 55-51 lead. Dartmouth posted a 47-40 run the rest of the way and powered out the victory in the end 102-91. Jayden Williams led the team with 24 points and three rebounds, while Connor Amundsen put up 23 points with 10 assists and two rebounds in 29 minutes for a double-double.

Penn vs Dartmouth Prediction
I’ll stay with Dartmouth, but you could make a case either way. We should have a fun, competitive matchup on our hands. The Big Green bagged a road win over a middling Cornell team in their last outing thanks to a great 55.7 percent shooting from the field and 46.7 percent (14-of-30) from outside. Dartmouth did get out-hustled on the boards 36-30 but made up for it with just five turnovers and 42 points in the paint. The Green have won three straight games now, and they’ve scored 72 or more points in four straight.
As for Penn, they got past Brown at home last weekend thanks to 46.4 percent shooting, a 31-26 rebounding advantage, 15 team assists and just eight turnovers. The Quakers are a shaky 2-3 in their last five games but they’ve managed to win two of the last three. This will be a tricky road matchup for Penn but I think they’ll be competitive.
