Indiana Hoosiers Betting Preview

The Indiana Hoosiers enter Saturday’s contest with a 12–3 overall record, including a 3–1 mark in Big Ten play and a 10–0 record at home. The Hoosiers have compiled wins over Maryland, Washington, Chicago State and the Penn State Nittany Lions, while dropping games to Minnesota, Louisville and the Kentucky Wildcats. Two days ago, in the Indiana Hoosiers dominant 84–66 victory over the Maryland Terrapins, Indiana guard Lamar Wilkerson tallied 24 points (9 of 17 shooting from the field), 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal illustrating his ability to lead the Hoosiers backcourt.

Why the Nebraska Cornhuskers will win

•             Perfect record. The Nebraska Corenhuskers arrive at tomorrow afternoon’s game with an undefeated record (15–0) this season.

•             Elite defense. The Cornhuskers are allowing opponents just 65.7 points which ranks 20th in the country.

•             Balanced scoring. Rienk Mast, Pryce Sandfort, and Braden Frager are averaging over 11.5 points per game.

Why the Indiana Hoosiers will win

•             Home court advantage. The Indiana Hoosiers have a perfect record (10-0) at home in 2025.

•             Backcourt scoring. Guard Lamar Wilkerson leads the Hoosiers in scoring averaging 19.5 points per game.

•             Offensive balance. The Indiana Hoosiers average 85 points on 48.4% shooting from the field per game.

Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. Indiana Hoosiers Prediction

In my view, Nebraska’s defensive consistency and frontcourt production give them a strong foundation entering this matchup. Indiana’s home environment and backcourt scoring should keep them competitive, but Nebraska’s ability to generate efficient possessions and elite defense makes them the more reliable side. For the reasons just noted, I am backing the Nebraska Cornhuskers in tomorrow’s matchup with the Indiana Hoosiers.
