I’ll take a stab on Marshall. The Herd started slowly in their win over Southern Miss this week, but ended up shooting a nice 53.7 percent from the field with a 30-24 edge in the paint. It wasn’t perfect though, as Marshall got out-rebounded 36-24 and had 11 turnovers. The Herd are now 4-1 in their last five games, posting 70 or more points in all four of those victories.

As for Miami-OH, they eked out another heart-attack win versus Buffalo this week. The RedHawks shot a stellar 55.2 percent from the field with an okay 27.3 percent (6-of-22) from outside, but got to the line just six times (making three). The 31-26 rebounding deficit and 13 turnovers didn’t do them any favors. Miami-OH should have the edge here as well but I think the Herd can power out a cover if all goes to plan.
