Maryland Eastern Shore Betting Preview
MD Eastern Shore has been a busy team this year; they’ve played four games already. The opener last Monday versus Georgia Tech. Maryland Eastern Shore scored just 18 points in the first half but only trailed by three points. After a comeback in the second half, the Hawks eventually lost in overtime 56-52. In game two versus Georgia last Wednesday, Maryland Eastern Shore got destroyed. The Hawks were down 43-17 by the break then scored just 12 points from there in a rough 94-29 road blowout loss. In game three versus Cheyney on Saturday, the Hawks got back into the win column. Maryland Eastern Shore took a 43-26 edge into the second half then hit a 61-33 run from there in a 104-59 win in the end.
In their most recent outing on Tuesday versus Nebraska, the Hawks fell back into the loss column. MD Eastern Shore was down 32-19 by halftime and didn’t end up getting closer on a 37-31 run from there and lost 69-50. Topping the scorers was Trey Hall with 11 points, one rebound and one assist in 18 minutes. The only other team player to reach double-figures was Joseph Locandro with 10 points and four rebounds in 16 minutes of time on the court.
Creighton Bluejays Betting Preview
Over on the Creighton side, they didn’t get their season started until last Wednesday versus South Dakota. The Jays held a 48-35 edge at halftime though, and closed on a 44-41 run for a 92-76 win in the end. Leading team scorer Owen Freeman logged 19 points with four rebounds in 19 minutes. Maryland Eastern Shore vs Creighton Prediction
I’ll stick with Creighton. The Bluejays are coming off a rough road loss to a great Gonzaga team and this is a great spot to get their confidence back. Creighton shot just 36.7 percent in the loss to the Bulldogs, along with 64.5 percent (20-of-31) from the line, a 38-32 rebounding deficit, 16 turnovers and a 48-20 deficit on points in the paint. It wasn’t a close game by any measure. The good news is that Creighton gets a couple of easy-looking home games in the coming week before hitting the road to visit Baylor and then host Iowa State at the end of the month. They’ll need to take advantage of these routine matchups to get that chemistry flowing in the right direction again.
the Hawks have been at 50 or fewer points in all three of their losses, so it’s tough imagining that they’ve got enough firepower to stay anywhere near Creighton if the Jays get going.
