Over on the Tennessee-Martin side, they managed an 8-4 run across their first 12 games of the year. Those losses came versus Florida State, Southern Miss, Southern Illinois and Tennessee State. After that came wins over Tennessee Tech, Western Illinois, Eastern Illinois, Morehead State and Southern Indiana in the next five. I’ll take a stab on Lindenwood but you could call this one either way. The Lions looked pretty good against a middling SEMO team in a road matchup this week, shooting 49.2 percent from the field with a 40-36 rebounding edge and a 44-34 advantage on points in the paint. Lindenwood put up 14 turnovers though, and could have been better from the line (23-of-35 for 65.7 percent). The Lions are a tepid 3-3 in their last six games but scoring pretty well overall.

As for TN-Martin, they didn’t shoot great at home against SIU Edwardsville this week, hitting just 37.7 percent from the field. The Skyhawks had a rebounding edge 44-25 with just nine turnovers, though. TN-Martin has won six straight games now, scoring 73 or more points in three of them. This should be a pretty fun matchup if both teams play well.
