I’ll probably lean toward James Madison. The Dukes have scored very well in their three wins this year with 88 or more points in each. JMU has been below 70 points in their two losses however, so it’ll be important to get off to a good start and keep a consistent rhythm here. The Dukes looked good on offense in the UIC game with 53.1 percent from the field alongside their 38 rebounds. James Madison did give up quite a bit on the other side, though (51.6 percent).

As for UC San Diego, they put together a nice comeback win over La Salle on Thursday for their third victory in five games. The Tritons didn’t shoot very well overall (35.5 percent) however, and got out-rebounded 43-40. I like UCSD to keep a cover pace for a while here before JMU surges late. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Dukes win this one outright, but it’ll be close.
