St. Thomas-MN Tommies Betting Preview
Over on the Tommies’ side, they had a tricky road matchup versus Saint Mary’s in their opening game of the season last Monday. The Tommies were down 35-25 by the break and didn’t get any better in the second half on a 49-33 run on the way to an 84-58 loss. Leading the scorers during the losing effort was Nolan Minessale with 24 points, five rebounds and two assists in 35 minutes. Nick Janowski also finished in double-digits with 14 points in 30 minutes of work in the loss. Game two went better for the Tommies though, as they went into the locker room with a 44-29 edge on Army back on Saturday. St. Thomas was outscored 47-39 from there but held on for the win in the end 83-76. Nolan Minessale led the way on 20 points with six assists and four rebounds this time, while Nick Janowski had 16 points, five rebounds and three assists. Carter Bjerke chipped in 12 points with four rebounds in the win as well.
In game three versus Washington State on Monday, the Tommies fell back into the loss column. St. Thomas-MN was drilled 50-30 in the first half, then got better on a 41-31 run but still lost by double-digits 81-71 in the end. Nick Janowski led the way this time with 22 points and two boards. The only other player on the team to finish in double-figures was Nolan Minessale with 20 points, six assists and three rebounds in the losing effort.

Green Bay vs St. Thomas-MN Prediction
I’ll stick with St. Thomas-MN. There’s not a lot to get excited about here, but if nothing else it should be a competitive matchup if both teams play well. In any case, the Tommies shot pretty well overall (45.3 percent) versus Washington State in their latest loss, but got demolished on the boards 34-16. Otherwise it wasn’t too bad of an effort, as St. Thomas had 13 team assists and just seven turnovers. They should be able to handle Green Bay here.
