Still, it was the Eagles’ first loss in a five-game span, and they’ve put up 77 or more points in each of the last six outings.

As for Florida International, they shot a tepid 40.6 percent from the field and just 11-of-22 from the lien alongside a 37-31 rebounding deficit in their latest win over Omaha. The Mavericks’ 19 turnovers certainly helped swing things toward FIU’s favor, though. The Panthers have 72 or more points in four straight games now (a 2-2 run), and a couple of their losses this year have come to pretty tough teams in Nebraska and LSU.
