Colorado State Rams Betting Preview
Colorado State has three games in the bag so far this season. The Rams kicked things off versus Incarnate Word on November 3 and rolled to a 98-64 victory on the strength of 57 second-half points. Colorado State was led by Brandon Rechsteiner with 19 points, six assists and four rebounds. Josh Pascarelli added 18 points as well. In game two the Rams stayed out in front of a struggling Omaha team pretty well in a 97-74 victory. Kyle Jorgensen led the way this time with 25 points and nine boards. Josh Pascarelli added 15 points with four rebounds and four assists in 27 minutes during the winning effort.
Back on Wednesday the Rams took on Cal Poly and the result was the same. Colorado State took a 10-point edge into the second half then closed on a 46-42 run for a 93-79 win. Josh Pascarelli’s 22 points paced the team, and Carey Booth added a double-double in the victory with 15 points and 10 rebounds in 25 minutes of work on the court.
Loyola Ramblers Betting Preview
Over on the Loyola side, they’ve played four games so far. In their opener versus Cleveland State, Loyola was down 51-50 at the half but took the win 91-88 after a 41-37 advantage in the second. Miles Rubin (six rebounds; two assists), Kayde Dotson (three rebounds; four assists) and Deywilk Tavarez (two assists; 14 minutes) each posted 16 points in the winning effort. In game two versus Mercyhurst, the Ramblers were down by seven at the half and didn’t end up getting any closer in a 73-65 loss after a 39-38 second half. Justin Moore led the way this time with 25 points, eight assists and four rebounds. Game three was another loss, this time 64-62 versus North Texas. The Ramblers were led by Chuck Love on his 12 points, seven boards and two assists in the defeat.
In their latest outing on Thursday versus Wichita State, the Ramblers fell once again. Loyola gave up 50 points in the first half on the way to a 95-74 loss. Deywilk Tavarez had 16 points with three rebounds and two assists this time, and Chuck Love added 13 points in 26 minutes of action on the court during the loss.

Colorado State vs Loyola Prediction
I’ll stay with Colorado State. The Rams have cruised through three games without too much difficulty so far. In the latest win over Cal Poly, Colorado State shot a nice 48.3 percent from the field, 44.4 percent from 3-point range and 95 percent (19-of-20) from the line alongside 38 rebounds and 25 team assists. The Rams have scored 93 or more points in all three games so far; their offense is cooking over the first trio of appearances.
As for Loyola, they were out-muscled up front by Wichita State in their last outing. The Ramblers had a 36-25 rebounding deficit and got outscored in the paint 34-24 during a 21-point loss. Loyola has been below 66 points in two of their four games so I don’t think they’ll keep a cover pace here. Colorado State should be in control most of the way.
