AR-Pine Bluff vs Texas Southern Prediction
I’ll stay with AR-Pine Bluff I suppose. I’ll probably avoid this one though; there’s not a lot to get excited about with both teams struggling overall this year. The Lions are at least coming off a win, shooting 45.1 percent from the field and 52.6 percent (10-of-19) from 3-point range alongside a nice 34-of-41 (82.9 percent) at the line. ARPB had a 37-28 rebounding advantage there, but also coughed up 16 turnovers and got outscored in the paint 36-22. The Lions have won four straight games now, and they’ve scored 72 or more points in each of their last six outings.
As for Texas Southern, they shot a tepid 40.7 percent from the field with a 32-25 rebounding deficit and 15 turnovers in their latest loss to Grambling. The Tigers have 67 or more points in five straight games now, but they’ve lost four of those.
