The Roadrunners would hit an ugly 1-5 stretch in the next six games with a lone win over Northeastern. Otherwise, it was losses to Florida Gulf Coast, Florida International, Southern Utah, UC Irvine, and UC San Diego at that time. I’ll stay with UC Davis I suppose. The Aggies returned from a weeklong layoff on Saturday with a favorable matchup versus Cal Maritime. That game went very well, as UC Davis notched 51.2 percent shooting and a 60-25 rebounding edge. The only real blemish was the 15-of-24 (62.5 percent) from the line. It was a nice and easy matchup to get the Aggies back into the groove, and thus they should be ready for Thursday’s game. During this current 5-1 stretch, UC Davis has posted 69 or more points in each victory while giving up 66 or fewer points in all five of those wins as well.

As for CSU Bakersfield, they were blown to bits by a pretty good North Dakota State team in their last outing. That makes a combined 118 points in the last two games for the Roadrunners, so I don’t think they’ve got the gas to keep pace here.
