After wins over CSU Fullerton and Western Kentucky, the Antelopes fell to Arizona State and UC Davis in consecutive games. Since then Grand Canyon has recovered with wins over Norfolk State, Stanford, Hawaii, and Life Pacific.

I’ll likely lean toward Georgia. The Bulldogs didn’t have too many issues versus Notre Dame in their last outing, hitting 44.4 percent from the field with 40 rebounds and just five turnovers. Georgia has failed to hit 70 points in three of their last four games (a 3-1 run) though, and they haven’t played a game in a while (December 3). It’ll be important for the Bulldogs to get off to a good start here.

As for Grand Canyon, they dispatched Life Pacific pretty easily in their last appearance thanks to 50 percent shooting and 50 rebounds. The Lopes are scoring great this year with 74 or more points in seven of eight games. That said Grand Canyon hasn’t faced anyone quite of Georgia’s caliber just yet. I like the Bulldogs to control this one if they can get back into the groove quickly.
