Lindenwood Lions Betting Preview
The Lions have just three wins in eight games so far, beating the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy, Stonehill, and East-West in that time. The losses have been versus Oklahoma, New Orleans, Robert Morris, Valparaiso, and Missouri otherwise.
In the East-West game on Wednesday, the Lions were way ahead 47-14 by halftime. After 55 more points from there, Lindenwood had a 102-45 blowout victory. Leading team scorer Anias Futrell logged 15 points with five rebounds and four assists.
Ole Miss Rebels Betting Preview
Over on the Ole Miss side, they beat LIU, Grambling, South Alabama, Colorado State, Oral Roberts, and BYU in their first six games. After taking their first loss of the year to Purdue, the Rebels came back with a win over Louisville.
Matched up against the Cardinals on Tuesday, the Rebels held a 40-31 edge in the locker room. Ole Miss posted 46 more points from there in an 86-63 win. Sean Pedulla was tops in the victory with 16 points and seven assists.
Why the Ole Miss Rebels will win
- Ole Miss has won each of its last 13 night games against non-conference opponents.
- Lindenwood (MO) has lost each of its last eight Saturday games.
- Ole Miss has won the first half in eight of its last nine night games against non-conference opponents.
Lindenwood vs Ole Miss Prediction
I’ll likely stick with the Rebels, even with a hefty line. Ole Miss bounced back well after their close loss to Purdue, shooting a nice 56.7 percent from the field with 31 rebounds in their win over Louisville. The Rebels have scored 78 or more points in five straight games now, and shouldn’t have issues with Lindenwood.
Speaking of the Lions, they demolished an overmatched East-West team in their last appearance but the competition will obviously be worlds apart on Saturday. Lindenwood has been below 65 points in each of their last three losses, and I don’t see them getting past that mark here either.
Andrew’s Pick Ole Miss Rebels -29.5
