Texas A&M Aggies Betting Preview
The Aggies took a stunner loss to UCF in their opener this year but then regrouped for wins over East Texas A&M, Lamar, Ohio State, and Southern U. Following another loss to Oregon on Tuesday, Texas A&M powered past Creighton the next day.
In the Wednesday matchup with the Bluejays, the Aggies were in trouble on a 31-27 halftime deficit. Texas A&M hit a 50-42 stride from there in a comeback win 77-73, though. Wade Taylor set the pace on 18 points with five boards and four assists.
Rutgers Scarlet Knights Betting Preview
Over on the Rutgers side, they won their first four over Wagner, Saint Peter’s, Monmouth, and Merrimack before a loss to Kennesaw State. The Knights eked out a win over Notre Dame early this week but then lost to Alabama in the next outing.
Matched up against the Tide on Wednesday, Rutgers went into the break with a 41-41 tie. The Knights were outpaced 54-49 from there, however, and lost 95-90. Dylan Harper went off for 37 points, two rebounds and two assists along the way.

Texas A&M vs Rutgers Prediction
I’ll probably stick with Texas A&M. You could make a case either way, though. The Aggies beat a good Creighton team in their last game despite shooting just 39.4 percent from the field and 21.7 percent (5-of-23) from 3-point range. The major force in Texas A&M’s favor was their dominance on the boards 48-37 (21-11 offensive). It’s been a tricky week against some tough competition for the Aggies. They’ve given up a combined 153 points over their last pair while scoring a respectable 147 themselves.
As for Rutgers, they showed some punch against a sloppy Alabama team (20 turnovers) in their last game. The Knights were eventually thwarted with the Tide’s 51.7 percent shooting and 43-31 rebounding advantage, however—not to mention Rutgers’ ugly 2-of-13 (15.4 percent) from 3-point range. The Knights have scored very well themselves this week, combining for 175 points across their two games. This one has all the makings of a high-scoring shootout, but in the end, I like the Aggies’ rebounding skills to earn the cover. Should be a fun one to watch.
