The Hawks took a bad loss in their opener this year, falling 82-56 versus Colorado State. After a canceled game versus UTSA, North Dakota recorded wins in their next pair 85-54 over Dickinson State and 77-71 against Utah Valley.

I’ll lean toward North Dakota, but I’m probably not touching this one. The Hawks were overmatched in their last game versus Notre Dame, shooting just 34.4 percent from the field with 15 turnovers. The good news is that North Dakota notched a 38-36 rebounding edge, which will help their cause immensely on Friday.

As for LMU, they’ve scored pretty well so far with 71 or more points in two of three outings. The Lions haven’t looked great in their last two matchups, however, so I’m not thrilled about their chances at a cover—even at home. North Dakota has to shoot a lot better here, though.
