Presbyterian Blue Hose Betting Preview
The Hose took on Charlotte in their first matchup of the season. Presbyterian took a 45-33 deficit into the second half and eventually lost 88-79. Tops in scoring was Jonah Pierce with 22 points and nine boards. Kory Mincy added 17 points and seven assists as well.
In game two versus Carolina Christian, the Hose were able to get into the win column for the first time this year. Presbyterian scored a whopping 73 points in the second half on the way to a 120-45 blowout. Kobe Stewart was tops this time with 19 points and three rebounds in the victory.
NC State Wolfpack Betting Preview
Over on the NC State side, they managed to go 26-15 overall last year. The Wolfpack went just 9-11 in the ACC but rallied to win the conference tournament over North Carolina. NC State made it all the way to the NCAA Tournament’s Final Four, where their season ended with a loss to Purdue.
Matched up against USC Upstate in their opener, the Wolfpack posted 50 points in the first half and 47 more in the second for a 97-66 victory. Both Marcus Hill and Breon Pass topped the team on 14 points, while Ben Middlebrooks doubled up on 10 points and 10 boards.

- Presbyterian has lost 14 of its last 16 road night games against non-conference opponents.
- Presbyterian has lost the first half in 12 of its last 13 road night games against non-conference opponents.

Presbyterian vs NC State Prediction
I’ll likely stay with NC State. The Wolfpack didn’t have much trouble with USC Upstate in their opener, notching 55.9 percent shooting with a 44-37 rebounding edge and 20 assists. NC State wasn’t great from the line (12-of-21) but that was just about the only blemish.
As for Presbyterian, they’re coming off a pretty routine win after an opener where they allowed 57.4 percent shooting. The Hose were able to pull down a 31-21 rebounding edge in that Charlotte game, but they likely won’t be able to impose their will so handily here. I like NC State to power out the cover.
