West Georgia Wolves Betting Preview
The Wolves had a pretty solid season overall in 2025. West Georgia ended up going 8-3 overall with a 5-3 run in United Athletic Conference play. By the end of the campaign the Wolves landed in fourth place among the standings behind Abilene Christian, Tarleton State and Southern Utah with that effort. The team’s three losses came in succession during the month of October versus Austin Peay, Abilene Christian and Tarleton State.
West Georgia played Chattanooga in their first outing of the season. In that one the Wolves were ahead 7-3 going into the third quarter. West Georgia was outscored 21-3 from there however, and ended up losing 24-10. QB Collin Hurst put up 124 yards on 19-of-30 and Justin Montgomery led the rush with 31 yards on eight carries.
Kennesaw State Owls Betting Preview
Over on the Kennesaw State side, they had a nice run themselves in 2025, but the season ended on a down note. The Owls finished 10-4 overall and 7-1 in Conference USA play, earning a championship with a victory over Jacksonville State 19-15 in the CUSA title matchup. Unfortunately in the Myrtle Beach Bowl, the Owls were pummeled in a blowout loss 41-6 versus Western Michigan.
Moving on to 2026, the Owls get head coach Jerry Mack back for his second year at the helm. The team had to scramble through the transfer portal to plug some heavy losses all across the board. We’re going to see a lot of new faces and some new schemes on both sides of the ball. Guys like senior linebacker Baron Hopson will be instrumental in helping to guide the transition into 2026.

West Georgia vs Kennesaw State Prediction
I’m going to try West Georgia in this one. The Wolves need a good bounce-back after a pretty flat opener loss to Chattanooga, though. West Georgia gained just 219 total yards (181 passing) and 12 first downs in that one alongside a rough 2-of-11 result on third downs. The defense gave up 10-of-17 on the other side but did hold the Mocs to just 180 passing yards. There were bright spots, but there’s still plenty to fix.
As for the Owls, they’ve got a lot of work ahead. Kennesaw State will likely be looking quite different this season, and this will be our first look at how they’re going to play. Still, the Owls have plenty of upside and it wouldn’t be surprising to see them reach eight wins or so. It’ll be an interesting season to be sure.
