Sam Houston comes into this game looking for their first win of the season, but they did play better last week. The Bearkats have been pretty bad defensively, as they have allowed 29+ points in five straight games, but UTEP’s offense has been very low scoring. The Miners have scored 11 points or fewer in three of their last four games and their quarterback situation is a mess. I don’t love either offense in this game, but I am going to side with Sam Houston at home, as Watson should have a little confidence coming into this one.
