The Rebels scored 21 more points in the third quarter and coasted to the easy victory. Ole Miss outgained Furman by a total of 772-172 and went 8-14 on third downs in the game. Jaxson Dart threw for 418 yards and five touchdowns, while Tre Harris caught eight passes for 179 yards and two scores. 

Ole Miss faced no adversity in their opening game and they cruised to the easy win, while their offense looked very dangerous. The Rebels managed to score 52 points in the first half, but their defense was even more impressive, as they allowed just 172 total yards. Ole Miss will take on Wake Forest after this game.

Middle Tennessee vs Ole Miss Prediction 

Ole Miss comes into this matchup as a huge favorite to pick up another win and they should have no issues throwing the ball against this Middle Tennessee defense. The Blue Raiders nearly allowed 300 passing yards to Tennessee Tech and I expect to see Dart put up similar numbers to week one. Middle Tennessee will probably put together a couple of scoring drives with Vattiato at quarterback, but their defense might not get any stops.
